All these athletes went through very rigorous training and have made a lot of improvement while preparing for the tournament, which is exactly the goal of our participation in tournaments. Medals are just a means to an end, and that end is helping our children grow into responsible citizens who have high moral values and understand the importance of discipline and hard work.

Please join me in congratulating the kids and their coaches, Alassane Niang and Mike Totzke. Thank you to the Parents'Committee for its valuable support. Special thanks to John Barela, Susan Winter, Susan Nexhip, George Vo-Duc, Jennifer Niang for all the behind the scene acts they had to pull together to make our trip a success.
