2015 IMA North Fork Karate Championship

We had 8 competitors.
We took 18 medals total !
5 Gold    1 Silver    12 Bronze   

8 of our competitors participated in the 8th Annual IMA Northfork Championship in Grand Junction, Colorado on Saturday October 24th, 2015. They brought home 18 medals: 5 gold, 1 silver and 12 bronze.

Our gold winners are Carys Winter, Aeddan Winter, and Soumaine Mahamat in Intermediate/Advanced team Kata, Andy and Nairobi in individual advanced kumite. The sensational was Jenna's silver medal in kata in a mixed novice/intermediate division. Jenna won her medal with Heian Nidan against an advanced kata in the final match.

At IMA-International Budokan we teach traditional Japanese, traditional Shotokan based on the philosophies of the founder of Shotokan karate-do, Gichin Funakoshi.
