WE ARE A HIGHLY COMPETITIVE KARATE TEAM THAT TRAINS FOR LOCAL, NATIONAL, AND INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENTS.

We teach traditional Shotokan based on the philosophies of the founder of Shotokan karate-do, Gichin Funakoshi. Our students learn in a safe and fun environment, and are taught traditional karate with the use of basics (kihon), forms (kata), and sparring (kumite). They participate in local, national, and international karate tournaments.

IMA-International Budokan Shotokan Karate was founded in 2001 by Shihan Amadou Niang.

USA Karate L2 Sanctioned Event - Earn National Points by Participating

The 20th Annual IMA Championship in Utah will be held on October 25th, in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA at the Northwest Recreation Center.
